I actually think they nailed the "futuristic styling." This car would look right at home among the most mediocre sporty sedans and coupes of 1994 . . . but it's from 1988.
well it looks better than all of them but of course it's more like an SUV than a van
This styling is more 1960's America. Check out a Rambler American. There's a lot of laughing in this video about stuff that just isn't funny, and it makes the video hard to watch. Most US cars were pretty much just like this at one time. But it's Russia. How could you expect anything modern? We could call this a 1965 Falcon and it would be a normal car. Much ado about nothing. At least the steering is on the correct side.
Dodge, what happened to you? Where did it go wrong?
This is like an Asian Limo. Asia’s Limos are like boxy mini vans...not designed for kids.
This man is out here making me want a....minivan
Coworker got the exact same truck and the internal computers that control the engine failed a 2k miles
Hey Doug, that car is not much bigger than your nose.
Just saw it yesterday, and I've decided it's even more ugly than the Aztec.
Dodge in the 90s: Our V10 car will kill you. Dodge now: HAHA, our Chrysler engine does the delete if you mishandle it.
18:28 Sure but with the Tesla you get all those issues of fitment and little things that break and there isn't a dealership to take it to. Both are still double my price range but if I had to choose, I would get the Polestar because it comes from a company that has been building quality vehicles for a very long time. Tesla gets the credit for getting everyone to finally go electric and save our planet.
Hey demuro review an Indian car any Indian car I hope your list will add up few more than
he forgot the doug score
Also, at 1:39, what is Doug holding?
12:48 Did he mean to say center control stank
1:23 that’s sounding nice
1:24 I meant
This is my dream car
Do the bugatti Divo
CX Prestige was longer then other CX...for example the normal CX 2500 turbo
Every time I see these crazy expensive roadsters I laugh when I hear you have to remove the roof yourself. The idea of a $1mil+ car having a manual roof is ridiculous
I think my parents had this car 🤔
Well Doug, tell me how to wipe two head lights with one wiper.
Here’s why this video is worth 10 Million views
Did you know that tve diagram in the instrument cluster also show when a brake light is out?
Also This : n 1972, the GAZ-24-02 4-door station wagon was introduced, fitted with three rows of seats. However, to inhibit small private enterprises Volga wagons were not sold to private owners without special permit.
good luck finding a mechanic that can work on that!
Lé Quirkmobile. Pretty good looking design tbh.
that back seat is almost like a very good maybach imitation!
6:05 doug demuro promoting unsafe driving
If anyone gets a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt, sue doug demuro
Not a fan and I'm yet to see one on the road.
This suspension would be perfect for some roads today in Canada...
You have to remember the main purpose of this car - to whisk away random innocent people sandwiched between two protoPutins in the backseat with least amount of comfort to both. Few cars symbolize stagnating oppression of USSR as much as this turd. That said, this particular piece looks immaculate and is as historical as a Sherman tank or a Messerschmitt
Pity you didn't spoke about the ability of the car to roll with only three wheels....like in 1960's famous plot to kill président Charles de Gaulle, the legendary Citroën DS with the same suspension escape from killers machineguns, rolling with flat tires... Other interesting thing about the suspension : you can change a flat tire very easily changing the suspension position ! A little detail about the "Diravi" servo return steering, it is getting firmer depending on speed, for example on high speed on motorway.
The quirkiest thing in that car is Doug.
I can’t hang around for the whole video. Does he get around to discussing the gas mileage? I bet it is 9 MPG highway, 4 city.
In its lastGroup B rallye version (Lancia ECV1 and ECV2) that never saw competition because Group B got banned, it was equipped with the twin turbo 1800 ml Triflux engine that put out around 650 hp at standard turbo pressure and could be turned up for qualifications at up to 1,300 hp. Bet you wouldn't complain about the power with that engine... althe.info/number/sInHf5mKgXKlgJk/video
I wonder if this S-Cargo will make its way to the Aging Wheels channel.
Honestly - this seems like the best door handle I’ve ever seen...
Who actually ever uses their door handle - you end up grabbing the door to make sure it doesn’t hit the car next door...
Who's here after doug demuro just hitted 4 million subscribers?
Hey there's an F1 car back there
I used to leave the seatbelt buckled and just lifted the lap belt when getting in. Was like an “automatic seatbelt”. Loved That car. Wish I never sold it. Could also check the gas cap while sitting in the driver’s seat.
Oh god... Baby shark? FACE PALM.
So is this just Doug bashing on Rivian and the Cybertruck now?? I get it its called competition but just focus on the Hummer
My favorite car when I was a kid! First the XJ220 and now this as a recommended video...how can ALthe know that?! I never searched for these cars and never told anybody before about my favorite ones!
Had one too. I loved it so much and I sold it with 226,000 miles on it. I shouldnt have
I am from Europe an I had one. It was an exellent and unbelievably quiet, fast, luxurious and reliable car. I strongly disagree with overall rating, especially with value 1 on acceleration rating. Btw mine had an LS 400 badge on the trunk (Doug said there were none, maybe only in US) and all the badges were chrome, not gold. Also it had a built-in cellular phone and a CD changer (interestingly, the replacable cartridge with CDs was located inside the glovebox). It was a beautiful car and I liked it looks much better than current Lexus models, especially that ugly "sand-watch" front mask.
Same Drive By 3x...
26:32 the dude in the back just chillin in his car 😂
i agree with the heads up display but it doesn’t really need to show what gear it’s in because it’s an electric car
Sadly you didnt test the suspension's extraordinary stability, that makes this hydropneumatic system very efficient at the moose test for example... but there are many videos talking about this and comparing it to other cars on ALthe already. Veeeery beautiful care here, thanks Doug for the video ! 🇫🇷
Weirdest name for a van
A car you would not park in a shopping mall! Waiting for a scratch or dent from a shopping trolley!!
The C8 is a Bold and great concept for GM...But this review and like all his other reviews prove NOTHING just takes the vehicle for a 2 minute ride that show's ANYTHING of what that vehicle is capable of especially off road vehicles compared to other sites another words his reviews are FLACCID! Like him
If the GLS's a rockin' you might wanna come a knockin'...
Lol I love My excursion
Can't wait to see if this goes up to the windshield in muddy brown water without stalling
1:55 It was also the normal sort of number for most American cars with much bigger engines in that time period... The Camaro only had 190hp in 1986 from a 5.0 V8.
Just hope you don't end up the same way as the guy it's named after!
Only Doug would do a review in Las Vegas while it is raining, which happens almost never. Went 150 straight days without a drop during 2020.
All the quirks of the Citroen CX....Doug’s longest video ever..
Infiniti fx45 test???
1:00 outback sus?????
1:25 That's not how you pronounce Peugeot. You don't take a dump at the start of it, no matter how bad some of the cars were.
"Weird" is not the same thing as "unfamiliar" or "different". It's only "weird", frankly, if you're a bit of an idiot. It's a beautiful car with some innovative and fascinating - and, yes, occasionally bizarre - design solutions, as well as being so uniquely, recognisably and elegantly French.
IDK how I can excited for a PT Cruiser, but Doug can do just that!
Yes, I would.nt
Honestly this car is not made for traveling or for a road trip or taking ti the golf club. This car is made for speed fast and fun and good looks!
Thats not a van - its a 2wd SUV. Japanese minivans have had the foot rest for years.
Why not mass produce that tiny big engine into an affordable family car....
I'm 5'9" and the car is too cramped for me. Could not get comfortable in it. I'm surprised a tall guy even fits in it.
It's absolutely beautiful!
9’000 grand 8’000 is going to bagis
Uh Doug, nobody opens the door with their right hand. Don't believe me? pay attention to your self the comming days while opening your car. Greetings from France.
So this thing has door that are “absolutely huge and conpletely full size” thanks doug
